Bong Cravings!

When you are unwell and you crave for good mutton , straightaway head to Apyaynan, close to Eden Garden, no no not the one in Kolkata but the one @ Wakad.

I visited this place for lunch with my office folks.

What we ordered ?
๐Ÿ‘Aam pora shorbot( raw mango pulp ) it’s roasted similar to baigaan Ka bharata, mixed with mint leaves, sugar, salt , soda ( as per need)
๐Ÿ‘Bhetki Maach fry – not good!
tasted like veg cutlet with fish missed the flavours …

๐Ÿ‘My fav mutton kosha with luchi , we ordered this two times but second time it was too oily . Perfect amount of spices, juicy mutton , garam masala.

Kosha Mangso

๐Ÿ‘Next was, lebulanka murgi ( chicken ) it’s gondhoraaj lebu ( lemon) Lanka ( green chilly) cooked with chicken. We have this lebu with simple dal rice & nothing can ever beat that simplicity and taste.
This was good, could have been spicy. I was happy with my kosha mangso so this wasn’t the focus for today๐Ÿ˜€.
We had this with soft chapatis.

Last and my fav section is sweets!

I wanted Lancha ( gulab jamun Ka bhai) / mishti dohi but they had rosugullas only !so, we settled with hot , soft, spongy rosugullas – not similar to the ones you get in Kolkata , but they were decent.

Rosogullas!

Overall, nice place would try their mutton biryani & veg dishes next time.
It’s a small outlet with good service.

Final Verdictย

Ambience -Simple decent chairs & tables
Service- Efficient
Food- Good & can improve especially in terms of quantity
VFM- Yes, it’s quite decent
Total damage – Rs 1230 for 4 foodies!
